Fat Bike Mammoth

A couple friends and I created Fat Bike Mammoth in the Winter of 2012/2013.  Our main goals are to advocate for access to public groomed snowmobile trails for fat bikes in Winter, and to improve existing/create new mountain bike trails in the Eastern Sierra year-round.  In the process, we hope to join like-minded “off-road cyclists” together by organizing group rides, shuttles, carpools to races, pooling of resources, etc. Get the scoop:

International Mountain Bike Association

The IMBA exists to foster responsible mountain biking by encouraging low impact riding, volunteer trail work, and helping maintain the sport and our environment for generations to come.  I’m proud to be a member, and encourage anybody who puts knobby tires on dirt to become a member and support our sport.

Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra

I volunteer year round for DSES.  We teach people with all types of physical and mental disabilities- everything from skiing, snowboarding, ski biking, handcycling, mountain biking, and more…  I’m proud to have won “Rookie of the Year” and “Instructor of the Year” awards.  DSES’s motto: “If I can do this, I can do anything”.  Get involved with Disabled Sports – Click Here

Wounded Warriors

For the last few years, I’ve been involved with this amazing program.  We take soldiers that have been injured in Afghanistan and Iraq out on the snow for some “recreational therapy”.  Their injuries range from amputations, hearing loss & visual impairment to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries.  These brave men and women put their lives on the line for us, and I’m stoked to give them a little stoke back 🙂  Get involved with Wounded Warriors – Click Here

MLTPA (Mammoth Lakes Trails & Public Access)

Whenever I can, I volunteer on trail cleanup, and attend planning meetings for the future of our local trail system.  It’s a great organization, and what better way to learn about our wilderness areas, while keeping it going for us and the next generation.  Get invoved with MLTPA – Click Here
